Your main assignments will be to manage the further development of our climate stress testing methodology and software tools, prioritising according to grant requirements, strategic developments in the debate in the field and user feedback. One main task will also be to build up a stress testing platform, combining various climate-related stress tests on the market, offering a centralised and harmonised solution. Furthermore, we envision to integrate other long-term risks such as biodiversity and social risks and build up capacity for using stress tests through the platform. The project will be located in 2DII’s 1in1000 research stream that focuses on complex risks and long-term supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Create roadmap, taking into account needs from different parties – internal as well as external, such as user feedback, internal ideas, technical needs

  • Identify bottlenecks and push for solutions
  • Responsible for the success of the stress-testing platform
  • Monitoring project progress, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks within the team
  • Contribute to the further development of our transition risk and physical risk stress testing methodology through active research and structuring research tasks for the team
  • Ideally be the contact point for external stakeholders
  • Ideally taking over the line management for stress test analysts

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, notably bringing large projects to a successful conclusion
  • Experience with tech development and product design is a strong plus
  • Independent and pro-active style of work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in agile workstyle with Jira / ADO or other project management software is a plus

We offer you:

  • A dynamic team of developers, data scientists, research and policy analysts, and sustainable finance specialists passionate about the climate transition
  • A mission that brings together technology and impact
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and a family-friendly working environment
  • An environment for growth and collaboration with people from different backgrounds
  • Competitive salary subject to experience
