The Board of Directors of 2° Investing Initiative (2DII) France appointed Hélène Lanier as Managing Director.
The 2DII France team now counts more than 15 people focused on our legacy and emerging research streams.
Since almost 10 years, 2Dii has implemented innovative tools and methodologies which are recognized and largely used by the financial institutions both in France and internationally.
Based on the expertise of the 2Dii France team and the widely recognized quality of their work, we are considering a new stage in the development of our association.
In the context of the climate emergency and given the essential role of the financial system in the ecological and environmental transition, 2Dii’s mission remains more than ever to clear new territories.
First woman head of 2Dii France, Hélène has 15 years of experience in the financial industry and regulation. Her training and experience in international risk management, her in-depth knowledge of European decision-making mechanisms and of the emerging strategic issues for the financial sector make her the ideal person for identifying the new tools and methods to help financial institutions meet their climatic and environmental challenges.
“I’m thrilled and honored to join 2DII, in a context when sustainable finance has emerged as a focal point for financial players” says Hélène Lanier, managing director of 2DII France. “Working for 2DII is a great chance to promote impacting projects and collaborate with engaged and passionate people. I am committed to consolidating existing relationship and developing new cooperation schemes with private and public partners. The objective is to foster awareness of emerging climate and nature-related issues for the financial sector and accelerate implementation of robust tools and methodologies”.
“Hélène’s mission is to steer the new development phase of 2Dii, relying on the close links established with our partners and in accordance with the values of independence and scientific rigor”, says Robin Edme, Chair of the Board of 2DII France. “She will foster the exploration of new fields of research, especially biodiversity, impact or net zero trajectories”.
