International Climate Reporting Awards: Roundtable & Prize Ceremony (virtual)

As part of Paris for Tomorrow week, join us for an expert-led debate on climate disclosures and find out this year’s winners of the International Climate Reporting Awards!

Sustainable finance experts from the government, standard-setter, and media sectors will discuss the question, “Raising the bar on climate disclosures: how to push for climate action?” Speakers will include Elise Calais, Deputy Director of Business at the Ministry for the Ecological Transition; Simon Messenger, Senior Advisor at SASB; Nicolas Redon, Green Finance Expert at Novethic; and Philippe Taffin, CIO of Aviva France.

Following the roundtable discussion, we will also unveil the winners of the third edition of the International Climate Reporting Awards. The Awards are organized by the French Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition (CGDD), the French Ecological Transition Agency (ADEME), 2° Investing Initiative, and supported by a standard-setters advisory board composed of SASB and GRI.

2DII today announced it is transferring stewardship of the Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment (PACTA) to RMI, formerly Rocky Mountain Institute. PACTA measures financial portfolios' alignment with various climate scenarios, including those consistent with the Paris Agreement. Under RMI’s stewardship, PACTA will remain a free, independent, open-source methodology and tool, and will continue to provide the financial and supervisory community with forward-looking, science-based scenario analysis to help users make climate-aligned financing decisions. RMI will invest in scaling up PACTA’s usability and applicability in day-to-day investment decisions as well as reporting requirements.
