Maria Krassuski

Maria is a desk officer for the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) in the Division “Strategic Aspects of Climate Policy, Climate Plan". She is currently working on the German National Climate Action Plan 2050, which will lay down interim targets for the post-2020 period in order to achieve the long-term climate goal. Maria is exposed to topics such as climate reporting, stranded assets and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Prior to joining BMUB, Maria has been employed as a research associate at Project Management Jülich, where she was in charge of the supervision and coordination of research projects and worked in an advisory capacity for the Federal Ministry for the Environment. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Public and Private Environmental Management from the Freie Universität Berlin.
